dc.description.abstract At teaching English for specific purposes (ESP) at the university, it is important to find the ways to increase students’ motivation for understanding the importance of learning the foreign language and how they might use the communication skills at professional activity. The model and its practical realization of English knowledge control of future software engineers in distance learning are performed. The designed model is based on task based learning and interdisciplinary connections of different cycle disciplines: “English for Special Purpose” and disciplines of the software cycle. The various types of control tasks and testing are realized using electronic-educational environment “Kherson Virtual University”. uk_UA
