ПЕРЕКЛАДОЗНАВЧИЙ ЕТАП У КОМПЛЕКСНІЙ МЕТОДИЦІ ДОСЛІДЖЕННЯ ЖАНРОВО-СТИЛІСТИЧНОЇ СПЕЦИФІКИ ПЕРЕКЛАДУ ДИТЯЧОГО ФЕНТЕЗІ

Abstract

Дослідження жанрово-стилістичної специфіки перекладу сучасного англомовного дитячого фентезі українською мовою потребує виопрацювання комплексної методики дослідження. Запропонована комплексна методика вивчення жанрово-стилістичної специфіки перекладу дитячого фентезі передбачає два етапи: доперекладознавчий та перекладознавчий. У статті висвітлюються особливості здійснення перекладознавчого (другого) етапу дослідження, який передбачає залучення лінгвістичних, перекладознавчих та загальнонаукових методів. На другому етапі дослідження застосовуються порівняльно-перекладознавчий, компонентний, тезаурусний, дескриптивний методи, а також методи аналізу та синтезу. Мета статті – визначити особливості здійснення перекладознавчого (другого) етапу комплексної методики дослідження жанрово-стилістичної специфіки перекладу текстів дитячого фентезі. Для досягнення поставленої мети необхідно виконати завдання: висвітлити алгоритм здійснення перекладознавчого етапу дослідження; зазначити теоретичні аспекти застосування низки методів, а саме порівняльно-перекладознавчого, компонентного, тезаурусного, дескриптивного, методів аналізу та синтезу, які забезпечують реалізацію перекладознавчого етапу в розробленій нами комплексній методиці дослідження; встановити специфіку використання зазначених методів для вивчення жанрово-стилістичних особливостей перекладу фентезі на матеріалі текстів дитячої літератури. Як висновок, стало можливим досягнення таких результатів: аналіз оригіналів і транслятів з огляду на адекватність / еквівалентність відтворення мовностилістичних одиниць на різних рівнях тексту; встановлення ступеню доцільності / недоцільність використання у ПТ перекладацьких варіантів при відтворенні обов’язкових жанрових елементів у текстах дитячого фентезі та фентезі з елементами наукової фантастики; визначення способів і прийомів досягнення адекватності перекладу на різних рівнях тексту з урахуванням жанрово-стилістичних та міфопоетичних очікувань цільової аудиторії. The suggested complex methodology comprises two stages: pre-translational stage and translational one. This research paper highlights the aspects of the translational (second) stage, namely the methods and main research principles that ensure the implementation of the suggested complex methodology. The translational (second) stage comprises the usage of the linguistic and translational methods as well as the general scientific ones. As for the linguistic and translational methods used at the translational stage, there are the comparativetranslational method, the componential method, the thesaurus method, the descriptive method. As for the general scientific methods used at the translational stage, there are the methods of analysis and synthesis. The purpose of the research paper is to explicate the peculiarities of the translational (second) stage accomplishment while studying the genre stylistic specificity of children’s fantasy rendering. To gain this purpose one needs to fulfill certain tasks: 1) to determine the algorithm of accomplishing the translational (second) stage as a part of the complex methodology; 2) to find out the theoretical aspects of the methods usage, namely the linguistic and translational methods as well as the general scientific ones; 3) to define the peculiarities of these methods usage for the investigation of the genre stylistic specificity of children’s fantasy rendering (case study of E. Colfer’s «Artemis Fowl» and M. Buckley’s «The Sisters Grimm» and their Ukrainian translations). The highlighted investigation serves to achieve important results: the analysis of the originals and translations in regard to adequacy / equivalency of lexical units’ rendering at different text levels; decision according the necessity of certain translation variants while rendering the obligatory genre elements in the texts of children’s fantasy as well as the texts with both genre features of fantasy and science fiction; designation of means of achieving the adequacy of translation at different text levels with respect to genre stylistic as well as mythological and poetical stereotypes of the target audience.
