dc.description.abstract Approximately 278 million people worldwide have mild to severe hearing loss. General pathology can lead to secondary changes in the functioning of other systems. The researchers found that hearing loss in children is accompanied by a disharmonious physical development. It is known that there is a close functional interdependence between the auditory, speech and motor functions of the system. Speech requires a developed respiratory system and, for its part, contributes to its development. It also affects the analysis of the work of the respiratory system in the scientific literature, which showed that people with hearing impairments have a low level of functional respiratory reserve, such as significantly lower lung capacity (VC), forced vital capacity (FVC) and maximum volume during exhalation compared to with the analogue, we found that all spirometry indicators are generally lower in deaf children in all studied age groups and regardless of gender as compared to their peers. The results show that deaf childhood sensory deprivation affects the functionality of the respiratory system. The results indicate the need for forced breathing during physical rehabilitation in this group of people. We offer a physical rehabilitation program for people with disabilities, we also use special breathing exercises, divided into 4 blocks of exercises, special breathing exercises; Breathing exercises with the proclamation of linguistic material; Active breathing exercises in the coordination of movements; Outdoor game with elements of gymnastics is respiratory-verbal. uk_UA
